I’m about to need a mower as well. I have a reel mower, which is fine for our tiny lawn in the Spring. But the bermuda grass down here is too think for it after May. I’ve been borrowing a friend’s for the last three years, but that friend just bought a house.

Another friend claims he found a reel mower that claims it cuts through bermuda. I’ll have to ask him about it, and see if it really works . . .

Oh, Paul, you need to know this. We should have lunch there the next time you’re in town (after we go to Perkins). It’s just over the railroad tracks behind Ace Hardware on Broadwell. Great sandwiches. Great soups. Tasty cookies. Awesome atmosphere. It’s in a building that used to be a dairy. I can’t recommend it enough.

Heh heh heh. Sheesh.

IMO, driving is a necessary evil anyway. I truly wish I could get around town via my feet, bike or public transit anyway. Or a moped. The car would still be a good option for travel between states. Where we go most often you can’t fly into anyway.

apparently your work at a newspaper does not include “journalistic integrity,” otherwise your post about Barack Obama’s views might not be so narrowly centered, while claiming his “main” goal is to change the Supreme Court to “Pro-Abortion.” Last I knew, the Supreme Court was in place to protect all the citizens over short term waxes and wanes of politically driven changes, not to drive one side’s political agenda over another for the long term. Maybe, most likely it is Murdock owned newspaper, where all this “integrity” is thrown out the window, but hey you’re standing on your rock. Last I checked 7 of the 9 justices are Republican nominations, doesn’t seem as though it moderates the fluctuations enough for you?
