Not grace to bar what is not bliss, Nor flight from all distress, but this: The grace that orders our trouble and pain, And then, in the darkness, is there to sustain. 28 December 2009O Lord, give sustaining grace. And thank you to Terri Hahn for watching our kitty while she was here. 28 December 2009I love my neighbors. - Tony Came in after playing in the snow and took a nap after our late-afternoon lunch. It's funny to wake up and it's dark out. It seems like other than working (or playing) in the snow we're eating, sleeping or snacking on things like peanut brittle or hot tomato toddies (sans the alcohol). 26 December 2009Came in after playing in the snow and took a nap after our late-afternoon lunch. - Tony Did something I haven't done since I was a kid in Minnesota: I built tunnels in a huge snowdrift! Andrew worked with me, so it made it even more fun. Now it's time for some hot pork tenderloin sandwiches as we warm up. Beats shopping any day! 26 December 2009Did something I haven't done since I was a kid in Minnesota: I built tunnels in a huge snowdrift! Andrew worked with me, so it made it even more fun.
